• Stands Crew (watches over reserved seating for band, takes coolers and plastic totes full of lyres and sweatshirts to stands and back to band room, distributes water during the game)

Uniform Fittings

• These volunteers perform the measuring and initial uniform fitting

 

Band Reviews

• Pit crew - These volunteers help members of the band (specifically the pit) get equipment and heavier instruments to the field for the halftime shows at football games and competitions. For competitions, they help load the trailer prior to leaving the school, and unload it upon return.  Being in the pit crew is a lot of work but it's also a great way to get to know the outstanding students that make up the band. The competitions are a day commitment and usually end up finishing close to midnight.

• Live Scanned Drivers (drivers cleared with background check to provide transportation)

 

Concerts (Winter, Mid-Year, District Band Day, Spring)

• Movie Nights (ticket and concession sales as well as chaperone)

• Bunco (Help with planning, running and securing donations for a bunco fundraiser)

• Breakfast with Santa (Help prepare and serve breakfast

• Spaghetti Dinner (help selling tickets and securing raffle donations)

• Jazz Fundraiser (Helping to organize a jazz fundraiser at local venue)

• Sponsorship (help with finding local businesses to sponsor the band)

• Raffle Donations (individuals willing to obtain donations for raffles at various band events throughout the year)

• Fireworks Booth (Work a 3 hour shift and earn $30 toward your child’s band account)
